Statement
Betty's Daughter Arts Collaborative is a community-based "arts in action" group based in New York City and Durham, NC. Established in 2005, Betty's Daughter activates art as a tool for self-actualization, transformation, and social action. Betty's Daughter believes by "creating radical expressiveness in community" another world is possible and attainable through a multi-disciplinary and everyday performance of community collaboration and artistic practice.
